A life well lived, between jungle and ocean
Yala Jungle Beach Resort was born from a simple idea: to create a place in Sri Lanka where nature, comfort and a more personal way of travelling could meet.
An independent retreat in Palatupana
Set on approximately ten acres in Palatupana, near Yala National Park and the Indian Ocean, the resort is being developed as an intimate retreat rather than a conventional hotel. It is a place shaped by its surroundings: dry-zone jungle, sea air, wildlife, warm light and the quiet rhythm of Sri Lanka's south-east coast.
The project has been built with patience and care. Its first phase brings together a small collection of private villas, gardens, a swimming pool, restaurant and guest spaces designed for privacy, calm and understated comfort.
Our idea of luxury is not excess. It is space, silence, good food, honest materials, thoughtful service and the feeling of being somewhere real.
Yala Jungle Beach Resort is for guests who want to slow down, explore one of Sri Lanka's most remarkable landscapes, and return to a place that feels personal, warm and connected to nature.
The project
Yala Jungle Beach Resort is a resort project in Palatupana / Yala area, Sri Lanka. Initial operating inventory is 15 accommodation units. The approved masterplan allows for up to 43 accommodation units.
